1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Engineering or Chemical Engineering
2.Working Experience: at least 10 years’ relevant working experience in project management, preferably in chemical industry
3.Technical & Professional Knowledge: solid knowledge in investment projects management and basic knowledge in chemical engineering Good communication skills both in English and Chinese IT user skills
Coordinate strategic projects for BCG and be the contact to regional and global resources. Manage projects in the role as Project Technology Manager (TM). Support the project teams to implement latest Best Practice solutions and learnings from earlier projects. Take care of all aspects of investment projects beside the technical topics.
1.Develop projects in the study, Pre-FEED and FEED phases, run the BASF internal approval process.
2.Be responsible for all permitting processes of strategic projects.
3.Manage all aspects of investment projects in the role of TM (coatings process, infrastructure, utilities, EHS, approval, legal and finance questions, ..)
4.Coordinate with projects in the project group like infrastructure or other supporting activites.
5.Ensure all necessary utilities, eg. nitrogen, compressed air, demineralized water are available at the required flow rates, specifications and quantities to allow for flushing and drying of lines, etc.
6.Validate engineering documents (technical data sheets, P&ID’s and PFD’s, demand and consumption data) and cooperate with the project and operation team .
7.Monitor and ensure the project construction fully meets technical design and requirements.
8.Work with the teams to lead the commissioning and start-up phases of the projects, and meet EHS, planning as well as cost requirements.
9.Be the link to the technical experts in the regional or global organization.
10.Be responsible for contracts with third party on utility and infrastructure supplier.
11.Be responsible for all technical documents transfer from project to operation team.
12.Assist in trouble-shooting and resolving any remaining issues and problems after project start-up.
13.Coordinate necessary resources for the project and provide necessary trainings to develop the skills and competencies of technical /operation people.
14.Coordinate all EHS issues within the project scope.
15.Coordinating functions related to project (Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technology, IT, R&D, EHS, etc.).
16.Coordinating interfaces with other BASF entities, BCH, BSC, A-FTA, etc. for project relevant topics.
17.Project reporting to management group.
